MONTREAL HOSTS HAMAS – JEWS BE DAMNED

Posted on September 7, 2025 by News Desk

Hamas has officially taken over Montreal. On October 7, the anniversary of its massacre in Israel, the terror group’s supporters will stage a celebration in the very center of the city. Place des Arts, which should be a beacon of culture and unity, will instead become a stage for hate. This is not a coincidence. It is deliberate. The organizers plastered Hamas colors across the poster, wrapped terrorists in keffiyehs, and used the slogan “Resistance Until Liberation.” They knew exactly what they were doing. They chose October 7 to glorify the day Hamas butchered Jews in Israel. They chose October 7 to turn downtown Montreal into a shrine for terrorism.

The organizers must be called out by name. The Palestinian Youth Movement, Montreal chapter, is one of the chief architects of this event. This is not some benign student club. PYM openly praises armed resistance and circulates materials from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a designated terrorist organization in Canada. Their own posts scream that resistance is the only way forward. These are not peaceful voices, these are people who openly glorify killing Jews. Alongside them is Solidarity for Palestinian Human Rights, with active cells at McGill and Concordia. SPHR has been poisoning Montreal campuses for years, holding encampments, screaming for revolution, and plastering gun-worshipping propaganda across student spaces. They are not activists. They are propagandists for Hamas, cloaked in academic jargon. Together, PYM and SPHR are turning our public square into a Hamas rally ground.

And what about Canada’s so-called leaders? Prime Minister Mark Carney has said nothing. Not one word. He presides over a country where Jews are terrorized in their own cities, where Hamas supporters strut around Place des Arts on the very anniversary of mass murder, and he looks the other way. Carney pretends to be a man of reason and morality, but his silence is cowardice. It is betrayal. By saying nothing, he is endorsing this rally of hate. He is letting Jews know that their safety is expendable, that their blood is cheap, and that his Canada has space for Hamas sympathizers to glorify genocide in public.

Mayor Valérie Plante is no better. As the elected leader of Montreal, she has the power and the responsibility to stop this. Yet she allows Place des Arts to be hijacked by extremists. This is not free expression, this is incitement. If the Ku Klux Klan were marching with their flag and openly demanding the death of Black people, would she dare permit it? Never. She would shut it down instantly, and the whole city would cheer her for doing so. But when the imagery is Hamas instead of the KKK, she falls silent. It is the same hate. It is the same ideology of extermination. And she is legitimizing it by standing by.

Fady Dagher, the Chief of the SPVM, is supposed to protect Montrealers. He talks about community policing, about trust and proximity. But when Jews are the targets, Dagher’s police disappear. They hand out tickets for jaywalking but will not lift a finger when terrorists are glorified in the heart of the city. His silence is a message to the Jewish community: do not expect protection, do not expect fairness, do not expect justice. He has abandoned them. And in doing so, he has abandoned the mandate of his office.

Let’s not pretend this is anything other than what it is. On October 7, 2023, Hamas committed atrocities so barbaric that they shocked the world. Teenagers at a music festival were hunted like animals. Women were raped beside their murdered friends. Families were burned alive in their homes. Babies were beheaded. Grandmothers were paraded half naked through Gaza. Hundreds were kidnapped, and many remain captives to this day. That is what October 7 means. That is what Hamas did. And that is what will be glorified in Montreal on October 7, 2025. Anyone calling this a pro-Palestinian rally is lying. This is a Hamas rally. Pure and simple.

The hypocrisy is revolting. The KKK would never be allowed to march through Montreal waving their banners and calling for the murder of Black people on the anniversary of a lynching. The police would stop it. Politicians would ban it. The city would erupt in outrage. But Hamas supporters can parade through the heart of Montreal in full Hamas colors, screaming Hamas slogans, on the anniversary of Jewish slaughter, and nothing happens. The silence from politicians and law enforcement is deafening. The double standard is undeniable. Jewish lives are treated as expendable in Canada. Hate against Jews is tolerated. Hamas propaganda is normalized.

The blame lies squarely on the shoulders of those in power. Mark Carney. Valérie Plante. Fady Dagher. By refusing to act, by refusing to speak, by refusing to draw a line against hate, they have become accomplices. They are allowing terrorism to be glorified in the public square. They are betraying Canadian values and Canadian citizens. And when the next Jewish life is lost because this poison is allowed to spread unchecked, the blood will not just be on the hands of Hamas supporters—it will stain the hands of Carney, Plante and Dagher, who chose cowardice over courage and appeasement over justice.
