Terror Apologists Fail as Israeli Team Cleared to Race in Montreal

Posted on September 10, 2025 by News Desk

The Israeli cycling team has not been barred from the Montreal Grand Prix despite a furious campaign from terror apologists demanding they be thrown out. The deadline came and went, the threats of lawsuits fizzled into silence, and Israel Premier Tech is still on the start list for Sunday’s race. The spectacle of pressure and intimidation collapsed as city officials refused to bend and the organizers stood their ground.

Palestinian and Jewish Unity, a fringe group with a history of boycotts and pro Hamas agitation, had promised to drag Montreal into court if the team was not banned. They shouted about genocide and accused the city of complicity, snarling that the race would become an exercise in sportswashing. They swore they would launch immediate legal action if the team was not cut. The team responded with one icy line, “No response needed on our end.” In the end, that was all it took.

Israel Premier Tech is still standing, still registered, and still preparing to roll through Montreal’s streets. Billionaire owner Sylvan Adams, who once proudly called his riders “ambassadors for Israel,” has made clear that this team is more than a cycling squad. The riders are symbols of resilience and they refuse to be silenced. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu himself weighed in with support, praising the team and declaring that they make Israel proud.

The campaign from PAJU has now backfired. Instead of banning the riders, Montreal has allowed them to line up and race. The threats of terror apologists have been exposed for what they are, an attempt to turn a sporting event into another front in their endless war against Israel. The riders will take their place at the starting line and the world will see that they are not going anywhere.

The city has been tested and it did not fold. The Grand Prix will go ahead, the Israeli riders will compete, and the extremists who tried to weaponize the race are left empty handed. What was meant to be a humiliation for Israel has instead become a victory lap. Montreal did not cave, and on Sunday the wheels will spin and the riders in blue and white will prove that they cannot be pushed off the road.
