Israel has slammed the brakes on Hamas’s latest “partial” hostage offer, making it clear the Jewish state won’t play games with lives.
A senior Israeli political official roared today that the government’s stance is rock solid: every last one of the 50 hostages must be freed, no cherry-picking, no haggling. “The policy of Israel is consistent and has not changed,” the official declared. “We are at the final stage of deciding Hamas’s fate and will leave no hostage behind.”
The bold words came just hours after Hamas tried to peddle a deal that would see only 10 hostages released alive, the corpses of others handed back in coffins, while dozens more men, women, and children would remain trapped in Gaza. In return, Hamas demanded Israel spring 200 hardened terrorists — including 140 lifers and another 60 with decades-long sentences.
Israel’s answer? Not a chance. The message is clear: until Hamas is crushed and every captive is home, there will be no deal.
