144 Tories Say ‘We’ve Got Your Back’—While Liberals BBQ!

The numbers tell the story better than any speech ever could. Every single one of the 144 Conservative MPs put their name on a letter pledging to fight antisemitism and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Jewish community. One hundred percent. No hesitation. No excuses.

Now flip the page to the Liberals. Out of a bloated caucus of 169 MPs, a measly 32 bothered to sign their so-called “call to action.” That’s less than one in five. The rest? Silent. Absent. Too scared to risk the wrath of their political friends and social media mobs. A few stragglers later tried to bump the total closer to 37, but the message was already crystal clear—when it came time to show up for Jews, the Liberals couldn’t even fill a school bus.

And what was the excuse for this embarrassing flop? Liberal MP Anthony Housefather rushed to social media claiming it was all “timing,” that the letter was circulated during a statutory holiday and that many MPs simply weren’t around to sign. That’s right—apparently, protecting Jews from surging hate had to wait until the barbecue was over and the long weekend wrapped up.

It’s a tale of two parties. One unanimous, thunderous, united front. The other fractured, embarrassed, and exposed for its cowardice. The Liberals love to parade around as moral leaders, but when hate crimes surge and Jewish families feel abandoned, only the Conservatives had the guts to say: “We’ve got your back.”

The scandal isn’t just the difference in signatures—it’s the smirk on the government’s face while pretending that 32 signatures mean anything. It’s the hypocrisy of a party that lectures the country about tolerance but can’t muster even a fifth of its caucus to protect Jews in their darkest hour.

This isn’t politics. This is survival. And the Conservatives have just shown they’re willing to stand tall while the Liberals hide in their excuses.
