TIFF: Toronto’s Festival of Terror Apologists

Posted on August 21, 2025 by News Desk

The Toronto International Film Festival is not just celebrating its 50th year. It is openly promoting “Palestinian” propaganda. TIFF has stacked its schedule with films glorifying the “Palestinian” cause, handing gala showcases and prime slots to titles like Palestine 36, The Voice of Hind Rajab and With Hasan in Gaza. These films are given the spotlight while Israel’s story is shoved into the shadows.

The one film that dared to show the truth about Hamas’s October 7th massacre was not welcomed. TIFF cancelled it outright. Only after public outrage and political pressure did the festival backtrack and allow it back in. But the reinstatement came with punishment. The film was buried in the schedule with a single screening on Wednesday September 10 at two in the afternoon. The original title Out of Nowhere: The Ultimate Rescue was stripped away and replaced with the politically neutered The Road Between Us: The Ultimate Rescue. TIFF could not allow the words “Out of Nowhere” because that would admit Hamas launched a savage slaughter without justification.

This was not scheduling. This was censorship. TIFF staff took it upon themselves to decide how history is remembered. They dictated language. They rewrote meaning. They silenced the filmmaker’s intent and replaced it with their own politics.

Meanwhile the “Palestinian” films roll out in prime time with fanfare, red carpets and applause. TIFF has a long history of partnering with pro “Palestinian” groups and this year the mask is off. The bias is naked. The hypocrisy is staggering.

TIFF claims to be a platform for freedom of expression. What it has become is a stage for terror sympathizers. The festival that brands itself as a champion of artists has revealed its true face. It is not standing with the victims of Hamas. It is standing with those who excuse them.
