Propaganda is the mask, terror is the message. In Montreal, the mobs are not subtle. They march with their hands smeared in red paint. Those red hands are not art. They are not abstract. They are a celebration of murder, ripped straight from the 2000 Ramallah lynching, when Israeli soldiers were butchered and their killer waved his blood-soaked hands from a window to a cheering crowd. That image of savagery is now paraded in our streets.
And what do the mobs chant? Free Palestine. Which means no Israel, no Jews. From the river to the sea. Which means the destruction of the Jewish homeland, every inch of it. Globalize the intifada. Which means suicide bombings, stabbings, shootings, and car-rammings brought not just to Jerusalem but to Montreal, to Côte Saint-Luc, to Hampstead, to every Jewish doorstep.
This is not empty rhetoric. We have already seen the reality here. Jewish schools in Montreal have been shot at, bullets ripping through classroom walls where children should have been safe. Synagogues have been firebombed. Jewish fathers have been beaten in the street for daring to wear a kippa. In Saint-Laurent, an Islamic man screamed for Jews to be murdered in broad daylight, his calls for blood loudly bouncing off homes in a borough where Jewish families live.
These are not hypotheticals. These are facts. This is our city.
And while this hatred explodes around us, politicians smirk and babble about “dialogue” and “rights.” They posture for cameras while mobs chant genocide in French and English. They hide behind cowardly words while Jewish communities in Côte Saint-Luc and Hampstead lock their doors, afraid for their children’s lives. Some politicians are fools who cannot see it. Others are cowards who refuse to confront it. And some are worse, they know exactly what is happening and let it grow because it buys them votes.
The mobs tell us openly what they want. They show it in their hands, dripping in red. They shout it in their chants, promising intifada on every street. They scrawl it on the walls of our schools and burn it into the doors of our synagogues.
The real danger is not only the hate-filled mobs outside. It is the politicians inside who protect them, excuse them, and stand by silently while Jewish blood is threatened on Montreal streets.
When more bullets rip through Jewish schools, when more synagogues are firebombed, when more fathers are beaten, when the intifada they begged to globalize spills into our neighborhoods, remember this, our leaders were warned, they saw the signs, and they chose to do nothing.
The red hands they pretend are just “symbols” will become real blood on the sidewalks of Montreal. And when it happens, the mobs will be guilty, but the politicians will be guilty too.
