Viral Clip Alleging Montreal Airport Bus Driver’s Anti-Jewish Threats Circulates Online

Posted on October 10, 2025 by News Desk

A video clip that appears to show a Montreal airport bus driver screaming threats at Jewish passengers has gone viral on social media, drawing sharp online condemnation but no confirmation from officials.

The footage, first posted on Instagram and later reposted on X and Reddit, allegedly shows a man identified as a bus driver shouting, “I’ll decapitate a family of Jews like Hamas,” and calling someone a “Zionist piece of s—.” The video’s exact origin, date, and location have not been verified.

Two versions of the clip are now circulating widely. One reel was shared by broadcaster Dahlia Kurtz on October 8, captioned as a “Montreal airport bus incident.” Another was posted by the advocacy group StopAntisemitism, which described the man as an airport bus driver. Both clips appear to show the same individual but do not include identifiable signage or timestamps.

Several Reddit threads, including those in Canadian Jewish community forums, have linked to the same clips. None provide verifiable details on the driver’s name, the bus operator, or the time of the alleged confrontation. It also remains unclear whether the vehicle was part of the STM’s 747 airport line, a hotel shuttle, or a private transit service.

As of Thursday evening, the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), Aéroports de Montréal (ADM), and the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) have not issued any statements acknowledging the incident or confirming an investigation. A review of their official channels shows no mention of any airport-related hate incident this week.

Montreal’s Jewish community organizations have shared the posts and urged authorities to investigate, but no verified news report has yet tied the video to a confirmed case or identified the suspect.

The Montreal Jewish News has reached out to the SPVM, ADM, and STM for comment. At this time, no public record confirms that the individual has been arrested, suspended, or banned from the airport.

Anyone with direct information about the incident, including witnesses or passengers who were present on the bus, is asked to contact Montreal Jewish News confidentially at tips@montrealjewishnews.com
